It Starts With You

Why Inspireducation?

Think back to your high school years:

  • You don’t know why some of the things you are learning may be important.

  • You are aware of the finality of this experience which makes you feel untethered.

  • While you may be excited to spread your wings, you also feel apprehensive about leaving what is known to head off to the unknown.

  • You have no clue what it means to “become an adult”, and the idea of making your way in the world feels daunting and scary.

  • You can’t help but compare yourself to others and feel the pressure of their progress.

  • You don’t feel like you have time to focus on yourself and feel conflicted about your needs and desires.

So, you just do whatever next step feels easiest to buy yourself some time: You enroll in a college someone said is impressive, you get a job at the nearest retail store, or you do nothing while you wait for opportunity to come knocking at your door. As a high schooler, looking 5, 10, and 20 years into the future to see where you are aiming and what you are working toward, let alone navigating the steps to get there, feels nearly impossible without some guidance.

This is where Inspireducation can help.

Time and time again, we find that high school students are confused, overwhelmed, and paralyzed by fear around what their future holds. Many feel disheartened because they believe the “American dream” is an unobtainable myth. Whether students have an end goal in mind or are riddled with limiting beliefs and doubts, we help them move from a place of uncertainty to a place of self-confidence and knowledge, allowing them to envision and obtain the future they desire. Let us believe in you until you believe in yourself.

“When I was applying for colleges, I never considered the end goal, and I entered adulthood unprepared for my dream career. I began working in real estate and found that many clients had levels of student loan debt that prevented them from buying a modest home. I realized that by pushing people into college without a bigger plan, we are unknowingly setting them up for hardship.

I believe that we, as a society, can do better. Inspireducation has found a way to launch young people to success, and they work tirelessly to change our collective narrative in pursuit of a brighter future.”

The Book

If you and everyone around you are reading the same book, and you feel like your friends are moving forward at a rapid pace, consuming and comprehending chapter 9 while you are struggling to skim through chapter 3, let Inspireducation meet you where you are and equip you with the tools and resources to move forward with equal parts ease and effort. We will build a bridge from who you are (identity) to what you can do (purpose) by guiding you to discover your own answers.

Let’s meet on the same page and unlock your brightest future.

We are not your average advisors.

We counsel, and we deeply care. We pride ourselves in our ability to fully serve ALL students. This requires a level of sensitivity, empathy, and receptivity. We engage in regular and consistent professional development, maintain open conversations with our constituents to build an understanding of barriers, and continually check our assumptions at the door.

Value 1

SELF-ACTUALIZATION

If generations of students leave school with a sense of self, the positive impact on society would be huge. We strive to help our students truly know themselves in order to create their brightest, most desired futures.

Value 2

INDIVIDUALITY

Every student and colleague is an individual, and their future is their own. Our process works because we understand this fact and tailor our solutions to fit the individual, thereby guiding them to their own unique success.

Value 3

OPEN-MINDEDNESS

We encourage our students to be receptive to any and all possibilities for their individual futures. Just as we don’t want them to limit themselves, we keep an open mind about who they are and what they can do in life.

Value 4

RELATIONSHIPS

The connections we have between people matter most. We can only succeed if we build strong, constructive relationships with our students and colleagues. For our students, we must be caring, accessible, and trusted advisors.

Value 5

COMMUNICATION

What we say, how we say it, when we say it, and to whom we say it matters. Whenever we communicate, we strive to be kind, clear, direct, and constructive.
